The journey's longest road day leads north-east towards the lake. Arrival is kept simple: settle in, take in the water and watch the light change.

A day on the lake

Choose a boat journey, snorkelling or kayaking, with time to swim and rest. A fishing-community or lakeside-hosted visit is included only where it is welcome, respectful and locally led.

Blantyre

A considered return

Return towards Blantyre with departure assistance. Where flight timing would make the day rushed, an additional buffer night is recommended rather than forcing the connection.
